Abstract

This paper presents a fuzzy TOPSIS approach to evaluate the waste paper collection methods in Turkey The recovery of the waste is an essential way to reduce the land tilling of waste and also the natural resource depletion, in the other hand to create an alternative energy source To obtain a high level solid waste recovery, the waste must be collected according to some rules The aim of this study is to compare different collection methods with a fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) approach, according to financial, social and environmental criteria From engineering perspectives, the proposed method facilitate the decision making process where there are quantitative and also qualitative criteria
