Abstract

© 2017 IEEE.In this study, heartbeat signals were acquired by an oscillometric based measurement system. Oscillations that occur during the heartbeat are detected by a pressure sensor and oscillation signals which contain this heartbeat information are transmitted to the computer via arduino. To validate this oscillometric based system ECG signal acquisition was performed simultaneously by Biopac MP36 measurement system. Signals were collected 10 volunteer healthy participants under 3 different situations; relaxation, Stroop color/word test and mental process. After signals are taken and analyzed, statistical analysis was performed. According to correlation analysis between oscillometric based measurement system and ECG signals, a high correlation was observed except the standard deviation of the normal normal intervals (SDNN) from the time axis parameters.
