Flexibility term is the capacity of adaptation in these uncertainties and urgencies, that's why flexibility is one of the most important capabilities needed for firms to achieve competitive advantage. The possible behaviors of the company to increase flexibility are called levers of flexibilities. We are handling the automotive sector for the study. Some of the reasons to choose automotive industry are the economic significance of automotive industry for many countries, the huge volume of manufacturing activities in the world and the high level of knowledge in the industry. In this paper, we propose a flexibility model for automotive industry supply chain. The aim is to rank flexibility levers from the most important to the less important one according to automotive industry supply chain needs and to decide to invest on the more profitable levers.
