Özet

This paper presents a fuzzy goal programming approach to select the collection method in exploitation system of waste paper in Turkey. The proposed model considers the imprecise nature of aspiration levels of fuzzy goals and thus serves to consider the conflict between economic optimization and environmental protection. Today many public or private industrial institutions are faced with new management disciplines Such as environmental protection, responsibility for solid waste collection and recovery. From engineering perspectives, this method will facilitate the decision making process vis a vis this conflict between economic efficiency and environmental protection targets.
