Abstract

Ecotourism is a strategy that ensures the sustainability of the natural resources of the earth and encourages the economic development of local people while pre serving and protecting their social and cultural integrity. In recent years, developing countries with environmental and cultural diversity such as Turkey have accelerated their investments in this field. As the sustainable environment gains importance, site selection plays a major role in investments for ecotourism. This study aims to apply dual hesitant Pythagorean fuzzy Hamacher aggregation operator in the selection of alternative sites weighted by Nearest Interval Approximation and Goal Programming for sustainable ecotourism investment.
