Biography
Demircan was born in Istanbul in 1974. After graduating from Galatasaray High School, he graduated from ITU Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Industrial Engineering. M.B.A. in finance and marketing from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business. After completing his education, he completed his doctoral studies in the field of Fuzzy Logic and Applications in Engineering Economics at Istanbul Technical University. He graduated from the Industrial Engineering Department of the Institute of Science and Technology. Demircan, who currently teaches Productivity Management, Project Management, Investment Analysis and Engineering Economics at Galatasaray University Faculty of Engineering and Technology Industrial Engineering Department, has more than 20 years of private sector experience in addition to his academic studies.
After starting to work as a Geographic Information Systems consultant in the private sector in 1999; He was involved in the establishment of Troysis, a company that provides software development services in the USA, France, Canada and Italy, and later served as Deputy General Manager of Technology and Operations at Tempo, one of the largest call centers in our country. After establishing the Gold Bilgisayar customer loyalty program, he worked at the general directorates of Mobilnet, Vegatel and TBilgi call centers, respectively.
Demircan currently provides Digital Transformation consultancy to corporate companies and carries out digital transformation projects; He also works on Digital Transformation, Digital and Financial Literacy, Data Science, Digiital Business Models, Fuzzy Logic in Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods, Renovation Analysis and Valuation in Engineering Economics, Alternative Economy, and provides voluntary mentoring and training to entrepreneurs in many Startup Accelarator programs. Apart from his academic publications, he has many articles and 2 published books.
